Welcome to this very special CHRISTmas edition of On My Mind.
First, I hope that each and everyone of you have a blessed Christmas.
Christmas is truly the best time of the year. I love spending Christmas moments with my family & friends, sending and receiving Christmas cards, eating turkey and dressing, listening to Christmas carols, and most of all celebrating the birth of our Jesus Christ.
Earlier this week, I got an opportunity to speak to several superstars including Former WCW star "The Ragin' Cajun" Lash Leroux.
Lash Leroux has been showing off his talents all over the world. Lash has held titles in promotions all across the world including WCW.
I was also lucky enough to speak to Memphis Wrestling's Pokerface. He has worked with the top names from California to Florida and everywhere in between, and has held NWA titles.
I also got to speak with Pappy. Pappy is currently in the run-offs for Most Improved Wrestler on WrestlingNewsCenter.com. Pappy has worked promotions all over the Mississippi area including XOW, All-Pro, JTW, and many more.
I also got the opportunity to speak to Neil "The Real Deal" Taylor.
Neil has been a superstar on Memphis Wrestling. He has been showing off his talents to the entire world. Neil has worked with the top names of the business.
Cannon took time out of his busy schedule to speak about his Christmas plans & memories. Cannon is one of the most dedicated workers around. Cannon is a very well known name in the Arkansas area.
Chris Lexx also took time to speak to us about his memories and plans.
Chris is a popular name in the Memphis area. He has worked in many promotions such as CWA, TLCW, and many more. What is your favorite thing about the Christmas season?
Lash: The lights and the cold weather. I absolutely love walking outside and
taking a long, deep breathe of cold air. It just seems cleaner and crisper!
Pokerface: My favorite thing about the Christmas season is the chance to do something extra special for my friends and family. Plus after all the money I spend on gifts, it warms my heart to see my six year old son's face light up when he opens his gifts. It makes it all worth it.
Pappy: I have always loved this time of year, mostly I like it cause I get to see alot of my family that I don't really see that often.
Neil: food...family...free stuff! lol
Cannon: Being with my family and friends.
Lexx: Eating and Family coming together
What are your plans for the holiday?
Lash: Laying low with my family. We usually eat a LOT of food and go to the movies. If there are several good flicks, we'll sometimes see up to three movies in a row!
Pokerface: I plan on spending sometime with my little sister who's flying in from Houston. And eating so much sushi that I start to grow scales.
Pappy: My plans are to have my Christmas with my family, and go see my grandfather's grave, after that I have to work.
Neil: Just being home and healing up my foot!
Cannon: Going to my mother-in-law home for Christmas dinner, etc.
Lexx: To be with the family and everything go smoothly lol
What is the worst gift you have ever received?
Lash: Once, someone actually gave me a book they had already read. I swear--
they wrapped it and everything.
Pokerface: The worst gift I ever got was from one of my ex-girlfriends. She bought me a bottle of cheap cologne, without even putting any real thought into the gift.
Pappy: The worst gift I have ever gotten is this ugly jacket that my aunt got me one year thank God that it was to small lol.
Neil: when I was it kid it was always clothes.
Cannon: Right now not being with my entirely family.
Lexx: ....coal, that darn Santa lol. Seriously, it had to be the year that someone gave me a sweater with every color under the rainbow in it. Oh, and too small.
What did you ask Santa for this year?
Lash: Oh, nothing overbearing. Just a Play-Doh Fun Factory and the ability to explain cold fusion to the masses. Cold fusion is the concept of a nuclear fusion reaction occurring at conditions near room temperature and atmospheric pressure.
A few scientists believe that they can produce such a reaction in electrolytic
cells. Skeptics argue that this is not possible and that the temperature required for thermonuclear reactions is well over one million degrees Celsius. Regardless, it's a lot less complicated than it sounds.
Pokerface: I asked Santa to ask God to let me see many more CHRISTmas's.
Pappy: I ask for the same thing every year is for everyone to be healthy, and also I want to see a white Christmas.
Neil: health and GAP gift cards and a new pair of Versace sunglasses.
Cannon: pray for my wife health to improve.
Lexx: Good health and happiness and a new wrestling action figure.

I know all of us have received bad Christmas gifts in the past. When I was 15, my elderly neighbor brought over a gift for me. She kept on and on about how it was the perfect gift for me. Finally, I opened it in front of all of my friends. It happened to be a Barney hat that had the lyrics to the Barney theme song on it. LOL.
